LECTIO SYNC FOR MAC

Move your timetable to Apple Calendar.

Connect from the Chrome or Firefox extension you already use. Your Lectio account and compatible settings move across automatically, and Safari can remain your default browser.

Version 0.2.0 · macOS 14 or later · Apple silicon and Intel

INSTALL IN THREE STEPS

A one-time manual open, then normal updates.

  1. Unzip the downloadOpen the downloaded ZIP and drag Lectio Sync into your Applications folder.
  2. Open it safelyIn Applications, Control-click Lectio Sync, choose Open, then confirm Open once more.
  3. Connect the extensionReturn to your Chrome or Firefox extension and choose Connect Mac App.
Why the extra Open step? This free release is ad-hoc signed and unnotarized because the project does not participate in Apple’s paid Developer Program. Never disable Gatekeeper or lower your Mac’s security settings.

Safari does not get in the way

The extension starts the connection and the Mac app pairs directly with that same Chrome or Firefox extension. Safari is not opened for pairing, sign-in recovery or later reconnection.

Your old Google calendar stays untouched

Google synchronization continues until the first Apple Calendar sync succeeds. Lectio Sync then pauses Google updates and shows instructions for hiding or deleting the old calendar yourself.
